Every job is binned into one of three tolerance tiers during DFM review. Tighter limits drive inspection method and lead-time.

Tier 1 — Standard
±0.05mm
General-purpose machining for non-mating geometry. Default for housings, brackets, prototype enclosures.

Note — Tier 3 tolerances are technically achievable but must be confirmed during DFM review against feature geometry, material and stack-up. Submit your drawing for a tolerance feasibility assessment.
